Thank you, your support will ignite new hopes and dreams among children for the academic year, pave the way for higher education among students, bring happiness to elderly individuals, and empower single women. Your contributions are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G, as Vision Smile Foundation is registered as a non-profit organization society.
Vision Smile Foundation has engaged in numerous social activities over the past six years without much promotion. Three years ago, we initiated our presence on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, where we now regularly post updates about our monthly activities.
Our foundation prioritizes service above all else. Despite starting with a small team of just 10 members, we have since grown to over 70 team members by the end of 2023.
Initially, the foundation focused on assisting needy orphanages by consulting the children to determine their requirements, which include items such as essentials, books, school shoes, school bags, and clothes. These items are provided monthly to three orphanage houses: Loui's Adarsha Blind School, New Life Society (Warangal), and Vardhana Ashram (Jangoan).
Additionally, every year, we provide electric items such as a 5kg electric rice cooker, printers, and school-related amplifier, despite limited funds. VSF facilitates this process through an EMI system.
During COVID-19, we faced many challenges in conducting our monthly activities, Monthly events at orphanages were prohibited for some time, leading our team to conduct regular calls, provide virus precautions, and offer moral support. During the first wave of the lockdown, our team visited orphanages, delivering essential items outside the gates. During this lockdown, we provided fruits, water bottles, and essentials to recognize the heroes of our society (3rd warriors).
As the pandemic situation improved, we resumed monthly events at all orphanage homes. We continued transferring a cumulative amount monthly to the Sonu Sood Foundation. Despite various struggles over the 2.5 years since the foundation's inception, we took risks and stood strong with the support of friends. Furthermore, the foundation financially supports education for students and regularly assists various needy individuals, including students, elderly persons, and impoverished families. Recently, we have embarked on the following new projects,
1. Providing Financial assistance to children for education.
2. Supporting students to pursue higher studies (Medicine, IIT, and Government exam preparation)
3. Offering essential aid to elderly individuals.
4. promoting women empowerment activities.
